Integrated with WhatsApp, the solution allows electronic invoices to be issued via audio, democratizing access to technology in Brazilian agribusiness.

As of January 2, 2026, all Brazilian rural producers will be required to issue Electronic Invoices (NF-e).

The measure is an important step in modernizing the primary sector, but it also brings a challenge: many farmers still face difficulties with complex and unintuitive digital systems.

For SPO Tecnologia, a company with solid expertise in digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence, this reality demanded a practical and inclusive solution.

That is how IAgro was created, an AI agent capable of issuing invoices via audio, directly on WhatsApp.

The solution: AI that understands the producer and speaks their language

IAgro transforms the rural producer’s experience by allowing them to generate an invoice using only their voice.

Simply send an audio request, for example:

“I’m Dalvan and I want to sell 500 boxes of Valencia oranges.”

From there, the AI interprets the message, requests the additional information required by SEFAZ, and once all data is complete, automatically generates a preview of the invoice.

With the producer’s confirmation, the system delivers the document in PDF and XML formats, ready to be sent to the recipient.

This simple and conversational interaction is what makes IAgro accessible, secure, and efficient, bringing producers closer to technology without requiring apps, logins, or advanced technical knowledge.

Why WhatsApp? The most democratic technology in Brazil

Choosing WhatsApp as the main interface was strategic. According to Statista, the app is used daily by 147 million Brazilians, representing 99% of the online population—the second-largest user base in the world, behind only India.

In addition, research shows that 76% of rural producers use WhatsApp to conduct business (ABMRA, 2022).

With this, IAgro leverages the most familiar digital environment for farmers, eliminating technological barriers and expanding digital inclusion in the field.

Technology that learns from the producer

IAgro learns from the user. With each interaction, the AI agent memorizes preferences, prices, CNPJs, and recurring data, speeding up future issuances and reducing errors.

This evolving intelligence creates a personalized relationship between technology and the producer, making the system more efficient and human with every use.

Impact: accessibility, inclusion, and efficiency in agribusiness

With IAgro, SPO reinforces its commitment to using technology as a driver of inclusion and social development.

The solution reduces bureaucracy, ensures tax compliance, and democratizes access to digital transformation, bringing innovation to even the most remote areas of the country.
